See what a photo reveals, and clean it before sharing
Photos carry more than the picture: where and when they were taken, which phone took them, sometimes a thumbnail of what was cropped out. Check one image or many, then download clean copies.
Images are read on this device and never uploaded, so it’s safe to check private photos.
What you get
A one-line summary of what each image gives away, then the details: GPS location with a map link, dates, the camera or phone and its serial number, names and tagged people, embedded thumbnails and previews, Content Credentials and AI labels. Every EXIF, XMP and IPTC field is listed too, and can be saved as JSON.
Each image gets a clean copy, without its metadata and not recompressed, so it looks exactly as before. Orientation and colors are kept. Under “Cleaning options” you can remove only the location, or choose what goes. Several images download together as a ZIP.
Nothing leaves your device
Everything runs in your browser: no upload, no account, no server that sees your photos. You can check: open your browser’s developer tools, go to the Network tab and add a photo. No request carries it.
JPEG, PNG, WebP and HEIC images are supported: photos from phones and cameras, screenshots and images from the web. New to photo metadata? Start with how to remove the location from a photo or the other guides.
